Park County Deputy Dies Of Possible Hantavirus Infection

PARK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The Park County Sheriff's Department is mourning the death of one of its deputies.

Joseph Hamilton, 29, died Monday in what may have been case of Hantavirus.

Hamilton recently bought a home and may have come into contact with rodent droppings while cleaning up sheds and outbuildings on the property.

The official cause of death will be determined by the coroner.
