Stubborn Fire Burns Home In Broomfield

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) – Firefighters in Bloomfield were fighting a stubborn house fire Monday evening.

The fire broke out in a home near the corner of Outlook and Summit trails. Flames could be seen from Copter4 shooting out from under a bay window.

Crews said the flames started in the basement and the first floor collapsed.

A neighbor told CBS4 their house was also evacuated. They said nobody was home in the burning house.
