Colorado Springs Apartments Damaged By Fire
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (AP) - Nearly two dozen people have been left homeless after a fire caused substantial damage at a Colorado Springs apartment complex.
The three-alarm fire started late Sunday on the third floor of one of the apartment buildings at the Retreat at Austin Bluffs.
Authorities say smoke detectors helped families get out of their homes quickly and safely. No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
