Denver Has The Highest ATM Fees In The Nation

DENVER (CBS4) - Those tired of all the extra fees when they pull out cash in Denver may have to move to another city to get cheaper rates.

A new survey from BankRate.com found that Denver has the highest ATM fees in the country with an average fee of $4.70 per transaction.

Milwaukee ranked second, followed by Atlanta.

The fees are charged by the ATM operator and the banks to provide the convenience.

Denver also has the second highest overdraft charges.
