More Surveillance Cameras Could Be Installed In Vail

VAIL, Colo. (CBS4) - Vail wants to install more outdoor surveillance cameras to keep an eye on crowds.

The police department says the cameras would help monitor the 2015 World Alpine Ski Championships.

The commander also says it would help with other events that often draw as many as 150,000 people.

The Vail Daily says it would cost about $120,000 for 24 new cameras.
