Motorcyclist Who Hit Parked Car In Aurora Dies From Injuries

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A motorcyclist who crashed into a parked car in Aurora in early September has died from his injuries.

According to Lt. Jeff Turner with Aurora police, the motorcyclist, identified as Omar Rojero-Estupinan, 24, of Evans was heading eastbound on East Ford Avenue at approximately 10:20 p.m. on Sept. 1 when he left the road to the south and struck a car parked in a parking lot.

"The car was pushed into a second parked car. The adult male rider was thrown over the cars and landed in the parking lot," Turner said in a statement.

Rojero-Estupinan was taken to the hospital and remained in critical condition on life support. Hospital officials informed Aurora police on Monday that he died from his injuries.

Turner said the man wasn't wearing a helmet and investigators believe he was intoxicated.
