The man, Noel Robinson, 29, was in fair condition in the hospital after his fall that happened near the end of the game.

Police were interviewing witnesses to try to piece together what happened before the man fell.

Police have not said whether alcohol may have played a role in his fall.

It doesn’t appear anyone else was hurt.

Sports Authority Field at Mile High released this statement: We are aware of an accident involving a patron falling from an escalator during the fourth quarter of tonight’s game.

The victim was taken to an area hospital by Denver paramedics, and Stadium Management Company is working with authorities to gather more information about this incident.
