Greeley Woman, 76, Convicted Of Felony Menacing
GREELEY, Colo. (AP) — Jurors have convicted a Greeley woman of felony menacing after accusations that she pointed a pellet gun at a neighbor in a dispute in 2011.
Joyce Bradmon, 76, was convicted Wednesday. Neighbor Michael Crawley told police Bradmon pointed a replica of a semi-automatic handgun at him after he confronted her for yelling at neighborhood children drawing on a sidewalk with chalk. At the time, Crawley believed the gun was real.
Bradmon had testified that she only held the gun on her lap as she sat in a wheelchair and had never loaded or fired it. She also denied pointing it at anyone.
She is scheduled to be sentenced Oct. 25.
