Colorado State Student Nails Shot Of A Lifetime

FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Colorado State University freshman Andrew Schneeweis might have a little extra spending money this school year.

He sank a half-court shot in Moby Arena over the weekend to win a free year of tuition.

More than 4,000 students got to witness that shot in person.

It was the first time CSU held the event.

Schneeweis was actually given three chances to make it but he sank it on the first shot.

The cost of in-state tuition is approximately $7,500 per year.

CSU coaches Larry Eustachy, Tom Hilbert, Jim McElwain and Ryun Williams actually put up the prize money out of their own pockets.
