Police Arrest Man Suspected Of Preying On Elderly Couple In Arvada
ARVADA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police have arrested a man accused of scamming an elderly couple in Arvada out of hundreds of dollars.
Matthew Chisholm, 30, is accused of taking $2,500 from the couple after telling them he'd do some work around their house. He fled without doing any work.
"Chisholm posed as a handyman and tree trimmer with a stolen U-Haul truck and equipment he rented and later pawned," police said in statement.
Police arrested Chisholm in Rock Springs, Wyo. after police said he tried to steal a car.
Police now want to know if there are more victims of his scheme in Arvada. Anyone with information is asked to call Arvada police.
