Broomfield Woman Sentenced In Wrong-Way Crash
GOLDEN, Colo. (AP) — A Broomfield woman has been sentenced to 8 years in prison for driving drunk and causing a crash that killed her boyfriend.
Jefferson County District Judge Randall Arp handed down the sentence for Britni June Bunn on Monday in Golden.
Investigators say she had a blood-alcohol level of 0.212 after she crashed her SUV into a car on U.S. Highway 36 in Westminster on Feb. 20.
Her boyfriend, Vincent Gibson, who was riding in the SUV with her, died. The driver and a passenger in the car were seriously injured.
