Police Confiscate 70 Boxes Of Fireworks Found In Aurora Home

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - A man in Aurora is in hot water after police found fireworks in his home.

Officers took more than 70 boxes of fireworks from his home, which is located on the 13600 block of East Alabama Place.

Police so far haven't released the name of the homeowner.

Officials with the Aurora Fire Department said they want to remind the public that it's not only illegal to shoot off fireworks within city limits, it's also against the law for residents to simply posses them.
