Pedestrian Dies Trying To Catch RTD Bus

DENVER (CBS4) - A pedestrian died after trying to catch a Regional Transportation District bus early Saturday morning.

The incident happened at Knox and Alameda Boulevard. Police confirmed one person died after getting pinned under the bus.

According to Denver police, the man was running for the rear passenger door as the bus was departing. He lost footing and fell under the rear tire.

The victim's name hasn't been released.
