Fort Carson To Remember 3 Killed In Afghanistan

FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) — A memorial service is planned at Fort Carson for three soldiers killed in an attack on the Bagram Air Base in Afghanistan.

The service Wednesday will honor Spc. William R. Moody, Spc. Ember M. Alt and Spc. Robert W. Ellis. All were assigned to 32nd Transportation Company, 68th Combat Sustainment Support Battalion, 43rd Sustainment Brigade, 4th Infantry Division, based at Fort Carson.

The soldiers died June 18 after militants fired two rockets into the air base.
