Erie Garage Fire Causes Ammunition To Explode

ERIE, Colo. (CBS4) - A garage fire destroyed a home and a car in Erie early Saturday morning.

Mountain View firefighters say ammunition stored in the garage exploded. That kept crews at a distance and they had to fight the fire from the exterior.

The one person inside the home at the time of the fire escaped without injury.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
