Westminster Man Charged In Death Of Girlfriend's 1 Year Old
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) - A man from Westminster has been charged in the death of his girlfriend's 1-year-old child.
Justin Hale, 31, faces first degree murder charges as well as a charge of reckless child abuse resulting in death.
Court records indicate Hale was caring for baby Brookelynn on May 18 at 9297 W. 98th Place while the child's mother was in the other room. The mom, Dorothy Palmer, says she heard a thump.
Hale says the baby fell from a coffee table and hit her head.
Doctors called the fatal injury "abusive head trauma" and Brookelynn was taken off life support on May 20.
