Denver Library Book Sale Gets Under Way

DENVER (CBS4) – The Friends of the Denver Public Library’s 38th annual Gigantic Used Book Sale is under way.

The sale began Thursday morning and lasts through Sunday in a tent outside the central library at 14th and Broadway.

More than 70,000 items will be sold over the next three days. It includes books, audiobooks, CDs and DVDs.

Prices start at about $1, and a slew of new items are added every day. Hours are as follows:

Thursday: 10 a.m.-7:30 p.m.
Friday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-4 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m.-1 p.m.
