Hundreds Line Streets Of Commerce City For Memorial Day Parade
COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) - In Commerce City hundreds lined the streets for the Memorial Day parade on Monday.
More than 150 floats and groups were in the parade. Many of them were made up of troops and veterans .
"It kind of makes me shiver a little on this hot day. It makes me happy, I'm so supportive," said Beth Ertz, who watched the parade.
The theme of this year's parade was "remembering those who made the ultimate sacrifice."
It's the largest Memorial Day parade in Colorado and one of the largest in the country. This year marked the 49th year for the parade.
