DIA Honored By Airport Research Group As One Of The Best In The World
DENVER (CBS4) - Skytrax, a worldwide leader in airport research services, has named Denver International Airport one of the top 10 airports in the world and the number three airport in North America.
DIA was ranked ninth on the list of the "World's Best Airports." It's the only airport in the United States to make the top-10 global list and was also listed as number two among the "Best Regional Airports in North America," number four on the list of "Best Airport Staff in North America;" and number five on the list of the "World's Best Domestic Airports."
"Denver International Airport strives to provide a world-class passenger experience in all aspects, from offering local and national flavors at our concessions to providing great customer service and flights to more than 180 destinations around the world," Manager of Aviation Kim Day said in a statement. "We're proud to have been recognized by our passengers as one of the greatest airports in the world."
DIA is the 11th-busiest airport in the world and the fifth-busiest airport in the United States.
