Burger King Robbery Suspect Arrested After Chase

THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)– Police in Thornton arrested a man they believe robbed a Burger King fast-food restaurant and then led them on a chase.

Police said they were called to the Burger King on 84th Avenue after it was robbed. Officers were nearby and spotted a red car leaving the parking lot.

Officers tried to stop the vehicle but the man inside drove away. That man was later identified as Ricardo Castro.

Officers from several other police departments helped officers from Thornton track him down. Castro, 22, was eventually stopped at in the 16100 block of Green Valley Ranch Blvd.

A passenger inside the vehicle was also detained for a short time and released.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the restaurant.
