Snow To Keep Falling In Southern Colorado Mountains

DENVER (AP) - Snow is expected to continue to fall in parts of southern Colorado but travel has returned to normal around the rest of the state.

Interstate 70 from Burlington to Kansas was temporarily closed Tuesday because of the latest spring storm to hit Colorado and cancelled a handful of flights at Denver International Airport.

In Fort Collins, a 91-year-old man who apparently spent the night out in the snow was being treated at a hospital. Police say he left home late Monday evening and was found unconscious in his pajamas Tuesday morning by a newspaper delivery driver about a half mile away.

A winter weather advisory is in effect through 6 p.m. in the Sangre de Cristo and Wet mountains. But winds from a cold front have raised the fire danger in the southwestern corner.
