Deputy Accused Of Helping Inmate Escape To Appear In Court
DENVER (CBS4) - The sheriff's deputy accused of helping an inmate escape from the Denver County jail is scheduled to appear in court on Monday.
Matthew Andrews told police he got an anonymous threat demanding him to help with the escape or he and his family would be harmed.
Andrews faces charges of felony escape
Police say Andrews drove Felix Trujillo to Westminster where he is believed to be picked up by a mother's friend. Trujillo turned himself in three days after escaping.
