Some Light Rail Lines Suspended For The Weekend

DENVER (CBS4) - The Regional Transportation District announced light rail service will be suspended on Saturday and Sunday due to construction.

There will be no C or E light rail service. Connecting bus shuttle service will be available from the Colfax at Auraria Station to Auraria West Campus Station, Sports Authority Field at Mile High Station, Pepsi Center/Elitch Gardens Station, and Market Street Station.

Due to construction at Denver Union Station, bus shuttles will run to and from Market Street Station.

Light rail service on lines D and H will run on a normal schedule. Special F Line service will be available approximately every 15 minutes to accommodate passengers.

Northbound light rail passengers heading to Downtown Denver or to Rockies games have two options:

• Transfer to bus shuttle at Colfax at Auraria Station to Market Street Station or,
• Continue to ride the northbound train into Downtown and transfer to the extra
