Documents In Colorado Theater Shooting Case Mount

CENTENNIAL, Colo. (AP) - Prosecutors in the Colorado theater shooting case say they have turned over 37,000 pages of documents to the suspect's attorneys, plus 436 storage disks of some sort from law-enforcement agencies.

In a court filing Tuesday, prosecutors said the information includes audio recordings, photographs, business records, laboratory files and video of defendant James Holmes in jail. The disclosure came as prosecutors sought clarification of a judge's order to certify that they've gone through files of investigating agencies and that discoverable items have been given to Holmes' attorneys.

Holmes faces multiple charges including murder in connection with an attack on a movie theater July 20 that left 12 people dead and 70 injured.

A judge has entered a not guilty plea for him. Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty.
