Foul Play May Be Involved In Aurora Death Case

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Police found a man dead inside his Aurora home on Tuesday, and they now want to find the people who might be responsible.

Homicide detectives said this was the second body to be discovered at the house, located on Racine Street, in less than a week.

The earlier death was presumably from natural causes, but this more recent death is being labeled "suspicious" by authorities.

Neighbors told police they saw three people enter the house between 2 and 4 a.m. on Tuesday. The body was found two hours later.

Jimmy Odumm, who lives in the neighborhood, knew the victim for 20 years. He says the man had been unemployed for years, and that people arrived at the home frequently.

"Would it surprise you if foul play is involved?" CBS4's Tom Mustin asked Odumm.

"No, not really. Just with the things I've known about him in the past; he's had trouble with the law before," Odumm said.
