Fire Displaces Residents Of Wheat Ridge Apartments
WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) - An apartment fire displaced several people out of their homes overnight.
The fire broke out at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Monday at the Terra Village Apartments near 26th and Kendall in Wheat Ridge.
One unit was destroyed and two others have smoke damage.
Fire officials said a candle in the bedroom caught a lampshade on fire.
Residents in all 12 of the units can't go back in the building until power and gas can be turned back on.
