3 Charged In 2008 Grizzly Rose Murder

DENVER (CBS4)- Three people have been arrested in the 2008 shooting of a security guard at the Grizzly Rose nightclub.

Timothy Minnick of Adams County was shot and killed in the nightclub parking lot on Dec. 12, 2008.

Minnick, 48, was gunned down as he approached three suspects in the parking lot with another security guard. The confrontation quickly turned violent and Minnick died after he was shot. The other security guard was injured in the scuffle.

Gerald Michael Anthony Gurule has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder and three counts of felony menacing.

Jennifer Lynne Lewis has been charged with two counts of first-degree murder, four counts of attempted first-degree murder, three counts of felony menacing and six counts of accessory to a crime.

Stanley Joe Gurule has been charged with two counts of accessory to a crime.

The three suspects were arrested Tuesday and advised of the charges against them on Wednesday.

Both Gerald Gurule, 31, and Stanley Gurule, 53, are scheduled to appear in Adams County District Court on May 25 for an advisement hearing.

Lewis, 33, is scheduled to appear in Adams County District Court on May 20 for a review hearing.
