Ammunition Magazine Maker Begins Process Of Leaving Colorado

ERIE, Colo. (CBS4) - A company that makes ammunition magazines that will be banned under law says it's moving forward with plans to leave Colorado.

Last month CBS4's Rick Sallinger took a tour inside Magpul Industries' plant in Erie where 200 people work. Magpul's CEO said the law would force them to take their operations out of Colorado.

The company's Facebook page on Tuesday included a post saying it will start the process of moving almost immediately.

Magpul says it has made initial contacts in potential new locations. It says it is disappointed that money and a social agenda from outside Colorado are controlling state lawmakers.
