2 Arrested Outside Fox Theater In Boulder During Disturbance

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Boulder police responded to the Fox Theater Monday evening after a hundreds of people gathered to try to get into a free show.

Boulder police spokeswoman Kim Kobel said about 200 to 300 people gathered but — contrary to other media reports — there was not a riot.

Kobel said there may have been some verbal altercations in the crowd because some people were cold and upset by not being able to get in, but there were no major problems. There have been no arrests and no property damage of any kind and no one was hurt.

Rap artist Tyler, the Creator was scheduled to perform Monday night at the theater.
