Food For Thought

I was straightening up the house today and came across a book that I didn’t recognize.

It turned out to be my neighbor’s book; she left it after watching Elle the day before.

I have never met a self help book I didn’t enjoy, and this one certainly seemed like a good one.

It had yellowed pages and smelled of that old book smell which I just love.

I sat down started reading and this passage spoke to me.

Words are so powerful, aren’t they?

They can carry so much weight and evoke so much thought and emotion.

This passage and the simple “Principle” that follows inspired me.

“Do not criticize, condemn or complain.”

Words I’m going to try to live by….starting now.
