Weld County Teen Who Accidentally Shot Brother Pleads Guilty
GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4) - A teenager who accidentally shot and killed his younger brother in Weld County pleaded guilty to criminally negligent homicide on Monday.
Jordan Limas, 18, told police he had left a loaded gun on a table at his home in Weld County on Grand Teton Road near Evans. His 11-year-old brother Andre found the gun, and as the two wrestled for it, Andre was shot and killed.
Limas' plea agreement means he'll do no jail time. He could face probation or some sort of community corrections program when he's sentenced in March.
