LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A man is in the hospital after trying to shield his daughter from a hit-and-run driver in Lakewood Monday afternoon.
The hit-and-run happened at 10th and Sheridan.
The suspect later crashed his car at 6th & Ingalls near the Lakewood Country Club. A Good Samaritan who witnessed the crash chased him and police arrested the suspect. His name hasn’t been released.
The father suffered some broken bones and his daughter also suffered some non-life-threatening injuries.
The identities of the victims and the Good Samaritan also haven’t been released.
