AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- Members of the 140th Wing of the Colorado Air National Guard were reunited with their loved ones early Thursday morning.

The troops were welcomed home at Buckley Air Force Base.

The troops spent the last few months deployed in Africa where they were supporting U.S. Central Command and Africa Command.

Many of the troops also volunteered at orphanages, health clinics and schools.
