DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver have arrested a murder suspect who allegedly shot two men, killing one and leaving the other wounded.

Officers arrested Robert Rubio for the first homicide of the year in Denver.

Police rushed to 1044 S. Alcott Street at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday on reports of a shooting.

When officers arrived they found two men who had been shot. Both were rushed to the hospital where Troy Martinez, 21, died a short time later.

The other man suffered non-life threatening injuries and is expected to recover.
