BENNETT, Colo. (CBS4) – Nobody was injured after a truck hauling propane rolled over near Bennett Monday afternoon.
Sgt. Mike Baker with the Colorado State Patrol said the tractor-trailer was heading southbound on Old Victory Road just north of Highway 36, two miles east of Bennett when it ran off the road and rolled into a field.
The truck was hauling 8,000 gallons of propane, which began leaking. Hazmat crews were called to the scene.
Roads had to be shut down in 1.5-mile radius around the accident.
