WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – There are new developments from Westminster in the search for a man who disappeared after a holiday office party.

A body was found Monday in the area of the Westin Hotel near Highway 36 and Church Ranch Boulevard.

Police have not said if the body is that of John Lucas Edwards, who attended a holiday party at the hotel and was last seen around 3 a.m. last Sunday.

A coroner was called out to the scene Monday afternoon. Edwards’ stepfather told CBS4 officials asked the family to stay in the hotel.
