CBS4 Assignment Editor Receives Broadcasting Award

DENVER (CBS4)– CBS4 Assignment Editor Doug Hoffacker has received a prestigious broadcasting award for all his hard work behind the scenes.

On Thursday, Hoffacker was presented with the “Behind-The-Scenes Media Representatives of the Year” award from the Emergency Services Public Information Officers of Colorado.

The award recognizes his dedication and excellence in broadcasting.

Hoffacker has worked in the Denver television market for nearly three decades. He began his career in Denver at KUSA-TV in 1983 and then perfected his news-gathering expertise with CBS4 since first stepping foot in the newsroom in 1996.

Hoffacker shows a real love of news in his unrelenting enthusiasm to gather facts and details along with his amazing ability to connect with viewers, police, firefighters and public information officers from many organizations.

Hoffacker brings an energy to the newsroom that keeps everyone focused and excited about the day.
