DENVER (CBS4)– The Colorado Symphony holiday concert season kicks off this weekend along with many other holiday-themed performances. There is sure to be something for the entire family.

The first of the Colorado Symphony’s holiday concerts, A Colorado Christmas, with the orchestra, the Colorado Children’s Chorale and the Symphony Chorus is on stage through Dec. 9.

The holiday concerts continue with Messiah by Candlelight, Too Hot to Handel, Hansel and Gretl and A Night in Vienna.

White Christmas continues at the Buell Theatre. The classic Irving Berlin musical comedy is presented by the Denver Center Theater Company and is full of all the music comedy and great numbers you remember.

More great dance comes courtesy of The Colorado Ballet with The Nutcracker at the Ellie Caulkins Opera House.
