Changes Taking Shape In Renovation Of Century 16 Theater

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- The changes to the Century 16 Theater in Aurora are taking place months after the July 20 shooting that left 12 people dead and nearly five dozen injured.

Crews are installing a new mural on the outside of the theater.

The complex located at 14300 E. Alameda Ave. is getting a total redesign inside and out before reopening on Jan. 17.

The theater complex has been closed since the shooting.

Suspected gunman James Holmes is charged in the deadly shooting and remains in custody in Arapahoe County awaiting trial.
