BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Colorado’s worsening drought is now prompting the city of Boulder to take action to protect its trees.

The city is turning back on some irrigation systems to water trees in parks and along the streets.

The city forester is worried about the impact of the drought on the young trees and the evergreens.
