FORT CARSON, Colo. (AP) — Fort Carson says two soldiers injured in a rollover crash during a training exercise last week are in serious condition at civilian hospitals.
The post said Wednesday three other soldiers who were in the vehicle have been released from medical care.
Fort Carson hasn’t released any of the soldiers’ names or the nature of their injuries. One of the seriously injured soldiers is at Memorial Hospital and the other at Penrose-St. Francis. Both hospitals are in nearby Colorado Springs.
The accident occurred Nov. 7 at a training are on the 215-square-mile post. The vehicle that rolled was an M1151, a Humvee upgraded with heavier armor.
All five soldiers are from the 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 4th Infantry Division.
