WHEAT RIDGE, Colo. (CBS4) – Eastbound Interstate 70 had to be reduced to one lane after and accident shortly after 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police said a semi tractor-trailer was hauling empty cans from Coors Brewery when the driver lost control of the truck and hit the guard rail. The truck was hanging over the bridge area above Kipling Road.
The driver, passenger and two dogs in the truck were not seriously injured.
Drivers were able to exit I-70 at Kipling and enter east bound I-70 again at Wadsworth.
Police are investigating the cause of the accident.
