Police Search For More Victims In Locker Room Sex Assault

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4)- Police in Parker fear there could be more victims in a sexual assault on a child that happened in a recreation center locker room.

Police arrested Corrin Elijah Cleveland after two boys came forward. The boys said Cleveland, 19, touched one of them inappropriately and then touched himself in the men's locker room at the Parker Recreation Center.

Rec center staff were able to get a license plate number that helped police track down Cleveland. The rec center is located at 17301 E. Lincoln Ave. in Parker.

Those who frequent the rec center were surprised to hear of the incident.

"I've never seen anything really suspicious. It seems like it's mostly older people who use the locker room a lot," said rec center user Matt Schaffer.

Cleveland is a registered sex offender. That's something his neighbors who talked to CBS4 said was unknown to them.

"We have an 8-year-old and it is concerning for us because he's a boy and we need to watch him carefully," said neighbor Karen England.

"There's three or four boys over there that are very involved in sports," said neighbor Steve England.

Police are concerned there could be more victims who haven't come forward.

"Obviously he is a registered sex offender. There is an extensive history with him. We want to make sure if there are additional victims out there that they come forward," said Parker Police Department spokeswoman Doreen Jokerst. "We've been following up on additional tips that have been brought forward."
