COMMERCE CITY, Colo. (CBS4) – Commerce City police suspect a man hit and killed by a pickup Monday morning may have been drinking.

Copter4 was over the scene at 63rd and Brighton Boulevard. That’s where police say the truck hit the man who was walking north in the southbound lanes.

The accident forced police to shut down a stretch of Brighton Boulevard for three hours to investigate.

The names of the driver and the victim haven’t been released.
