BOULDER, Colo. (AP/CBS4) – Barack Obama is headed back to Colorado after canceling an earlier appearance due to Hurricane Sandy.

The president will hold a rally Thursday evening at the University of Colorado in Boulder. Obama’s rally features the Seattle band the Head and the Heart.

Colorado is seeing an avalanche of politicians in the final days before the election.

Republican Presidential Nominee Mitt Romney and Vice President Joe Biden will be in the state Saturday.

Biden will speak at Arvada West High School Saturday morning and then he’ll be in Pueblo in the afternoon for another rally.

Obama plans to return to Colorado on Sunday to visit Aurora.

There’s always a chance the candidates will continue to visit the state all the way through Election Day. Twenty years ago on Election Day Bill Clinton visited Denver for at a rally at Union Station.
