AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A man has been arrested after running into a bus full of children and then crashing into a home.
The crash happened at 14th and Beeler in Aurora Tuesday. After hitting the bus the driver fled the scene and ran into parking cars along the way.
The alleged driver, identified as Miguel Gomez, then crashed into a home on Akron Street. He got out and ran but people in the area held him until police arrived. The vehicle he was driving was stolen.
Nobody was seriously hurt.
Another accident involving a school bus sent three students to the hospital. It happened Tuesday afternoon on Quebec near Interstate 70 in Denver.
Police say two cars ran into the back of a bus. The children who were on the bus are expected to be okay.
