US Sprinter, Former CU Star Dodson Pleads Guilty To Stalking
BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - U.S. sprinter and former University of Colorado track star Jeremy Raponi Dodson has pleaded guilty to felony stalking.
The Daily Camera reports Dodson's plea means his two-year deferred sentence on a previous identity theft charge will be revoked. He is due to be resentenced on the identity theft charge Feb. 1.
Dodson received an 18-month deferred sentence and 18 months of probation for the stalking charge, which will be cleared from his record if he avoids other convictions during the sentence.
The stalking charge stemmed from an arrest last month by Louisville police after his ex-girlfriend said he was stalking and repeatedly calling her.
