DENVER (CBS4)- Eastbound lanes of Interstate 70 were closed from about 10 a.m. until 12:35 p.m. Wednesday after someone suspected of jumping died.

The eastbound lanes were closed at Federal Boulevard after the person believed to have jumped from an overpass onto traffic below.

Traffic was diverted onto Federal during the investigation.

Police do not know whether the deceased person was a man or a woman.
