Denver Water Rates To Rise To Help Pay For Improvements

DENVER (CBS4) - Denver Water says parts of its delivery system is more than a century old and it needs repairs and improvements.

Starting in January customers in Denver will see their bills go up an average of 55 cents a month. Suburban customers can expect to pay around 91 cents extra per month.

The utility says it's already spent $420 million to upgrade its infrastructure in recent years.
