DENVER (CBS4)- A woman charged in connection with the death of a 10-month-old baby last year admitted her guilt to the judge.

Amanda Lujan pleaded guilty to accessory to child abuse resulting in death on Thursday.

Another woman charged in the child’s death, Frances Garcia, pleaded guilty earlier this year in the same case to child abuse resulting in death.

Garcia told police she placed the boy in a closet with a propped up bottle and covered his face to muffle his cries during the night.

Lujan later lied to police about what happened.
